Engineering in the white spaces
My 19-month old daughter simply loves to play with Carl Franklin's Bubbles program. I had to modify it to work with my multi-monitor setup, and to stop the right-mouse button from exiting the application. But now she bangs away at the keyboard and watches the resulting multi-coloured bubbles with utter rapture.
She likes to alternate between the keyboard and the mouse, and she has no qualms about wrestling the latter from my hands with all the force that she can muster. Time for her own computer soon...
